I’ve been making games since I was a kid in the 80’s. I enjoy making games more than I do playing them. What I really enjoy is being able to share my games with other people. I’ve been fortunate to work at a lot of places that let me share the games I make. TournamentGames.com, Kidscom.com, and Gaiaonline.com. Since I don’t work at those places now, I still need an outlet to share my games. Coding is my art. It is what I do!
I move to Thailand a year ago to work on Happy Place games to produce as many downloadable games as I could. I got good at producing the games, but it was challenging to get downloads. Then I realized I hardly downloaded any games because my phone was full of essential apps. Everybody’s phones are full of photos, musics and essential apps, and their favorite games. I wrote a bit about that a few weeks ago.
So I’m going back to what I know best. Web games, in an html5 format that can be played as well on a mobile device just the same as your laptop.
Most of these are going to be of the quick play variety, but I’m going to put in some 50 levels to play type games. I’m also going to try to move all my mobile catalog over to the website.
My goal is to produce a game a week. I’m not sure how realistic that is, but I’m going to find out.
